7 Must Haves of This Month
Hey there! I've never really been obsessed with beauty products and can never understand how make-up youtubers can spend 2 hours perfecting their foundation while I only have one shade and wear it twice a month. I would say that even though I wouldn't go as far as the Parisienne look (smudged eye pencil?) that I've learnt in the Parisienne bible, I would still say that I am more on the natural side of the whole make-up fuss.
However, I do like to experiment with new products. I wanted to share some of my fave products that I've tried this month. Leggo!
1.The Urban Decay Naked Palette
Okay. I know. I never understood the fuss about it either. I never actually liked eye shadow and thought it was really hard. But now I wear this almost everyday and have completely abandoned my eye pencils. It all started when I got the Naked Basics palette last summer. I loved it so much that I knew I had to get this one as well. Definitely recommended. So freakin' easy.
2. Lush Rub Rub Rub Shower Scrub
3. Smashbox Camera Ready BB Cream
I have never been a foundation person. I don't like the way it feels on my skin, I feel like it clogs my pores and doesn't allow my skin to breathe. That's why I always use BB creams. I got this one when I was in Australia and I love it! So smooth and subtle- yet it covers what needs to be covered. I combine it with Porefessional and I swear it's the best combination for soft skin!
4. The Bumble & Bumble Duo
Straight hair is easy, I have nothing to say on that. But somedays I just want my hair to flow as I've been surfing the whole day under the sun even when I'm in the boring London cold. I love these two products, Surf Infusion and Texturising Cream (not sure if you're supposed to combined them tho) because they're not greasy or crunchy at all and actually leave your hair pretty soft.
5. Becca Champage Pop Shimmering Skin Perfector
I had been hearing about this for so long. I mean, it's all over youtube. If you don't have this you're basically not the make-up guru you pretend to be. It's THAT GOOD. If you want to have cheekbones on fleek and a highlight that blinds fuckboys, you need this in your life.
6. Tarte Amazonian Clay Bronzer
Just to clarify, the Turkish wouldn't normally need a bronzer. It's just the lack of sunshine and happy weather in the UK that left me quite pale (though I look pretty naturally tanned compared to the locals). I just love this product. It gives your cheeks such a natural bronze swish that people will think you just stayed a bit too much under the sun during your last visit to somewhere hot (or hotter, at least). As I was a bit down from the fact that I couldn't tan in Australia (seasons, Mina, seasons) this brought a smile and a perfect contour on my face.
7. L'oreal Paris Extraordinary Oil
It truly is extraordinary. It's NOT GREASY at all. This product is probably the best thing that happened to me this week. Spandau Ballet-Gold is currently playing on my Spotify and I'm pretty sure it's about this oil. It takes my make-up off completely. Shout out to my mum for introducing me to this!
That was it for today!
I also have an Aussie style article on the tab: check it out here.
